Methanol

One of the basic organic raw materials used in the production of various organic products such as chloromethane, methylamine, and dimethyl sulfate. It is also a raw material for pesticides (insecticides, acaricides) and pharmaceuticals (sulfonamides, streptomycin, etc.).

The main application area of methanol is the production of formaldehyde, which can be used to produce adhesives, mainly used in the wood processing industry, and secondly as a treatment agent for molding plastics, coatings, textiles, and paper.
